Cini Foundation – Island of San Giorgio

From August 28th to November 21st, the Exhibition Center on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore the Giorgio Cini Foundation will be open to the public with the exhibition which aims at being a deep exploration  of the variable activities of Giambattista Piranesi, one of the most fascinating, complex and multifaceted artists in 18th-century Europe.

Palazzo Grimani

Palazzo Grimani opened in December 2008 as a museum of itself and for a few selected works. Up to now it could be visited by appointment only. From August 29th to October 10th 2010 it will be permanently open to the public with some exhibitions whose protagonists will be great Italian and international artists.
