For the first time, after more than 100 years, Venice dedicates an exhibition to Giacomo Favretto, one of the most important masters of the Italian Nineteenth century, who was born and grew up in the lagoon city, and who revived the Venetian school during the second half of the Nineteenth century, by recovering and renovating the unique aspects of great Veneto tradition from Longhi to Tiepolo.
