How to get there

Getting to Mestre is very easy by taking the Milan-Venice motorway from any point. Once you have left the motorway (Venice is just at the final tollgate of the motorway), following the signs quickly reach the concert area, i.e. San Giuliano Park. There is also the LINK ROAD of MESTRE, which has just been opened. Motorists coming from the Brenner Pass, from Milan or from Bologna and bound for Marghera, Mestre, Venice city or the beaches of the Venetian coast can pass on the highway axis  Padua – Mestre – Western By-Pass of Mestre – Motorway Junction Marco Polo, or else follow the  stretch of the NEW LINK ROAD OF MESTRE (opened on February 19th 2009, crosses Spinea, Martellago and Preganziol), which definitely allows saving a lot of time, thus avoiding the well-known traffic on the by-pass.

THE LOCATION: San Giuliano Park

Just to get an idea of the spectacularity of the location, we describe you how San Giuliano Park was  organized in 2008 and how it is likely to be organized for the HJF 2010 (although we expect many improvements!!!).  More than 130,000 of its 730,000 sq m will be occupied by the Main Stage, where the guest Stars will perform their concerts. The area destined pro campers was 50,000 sq m. Another two Stages will compete for the public’s attendance: DJ ACTION ZONE, where world-renowned DJs will perform, and the Second Stage, where – thanks to the HEINEKEN J. F. CONTEST- the 34 emerging Bands which passed the selections are expected to perform. There will be a lot of funny entertainment activities you can took part in within the so-called Green Village area, located on top of a hill which overlooks the area dedicated to
