Gastronomia Trevigiana
Protagonista assoluto della cucina trevigiana è sicuramente il Radicchio rosso che si produce solamente nelle campagne attorno a Treviso. E’ una verdura che ha molto l’aspetto di un fiore, con lunghe foglie screziate. Il sapore è decisamente amarognolo ma al tempo stesso molto delicato. Lo si usa consumato in insalata (la stagione migliore è d’inverno), alla griglia (come gustoso contorno), fritto o nel risotto (aggiunto mano a mano insieme con un soffritto di cipolla).

Famosa è anche la salsiccia trevisana o “luganega” cotta intera nel riso in brodo.
